Its Board of Directors is composed of its three founding members: the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Maine-et-Loire (CCI) and the Graduate Network. The General Council of Maine-et-Loire and Angers Loire Métropole are also members, as well as parent representatives, students and qualified respected members of the corporate world. |

Educational protection
Since 1980, ESSCA has been authorised to issue diplomas approved by the Minister for Higher Education and Research.
The Ministry’s authority is applied in three fields:
It appoints the President of the Admission Entrance and Graduation Jury: Jean-Dominique LAFAY, Professor at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
By regularly auditing the schools: in 2008, ESSCA’s Ministerial accreditation was renewed for the maximum authorised period (six years - the longest period a School can request).
By approving the pedagogical regulations.
